Several Everton fans have taken to Twitter to reflect on Nikica Jelavic’s time at the club, following his birthday yesterday.
Everton’s official account posted a celebratory tweet to the Croatian, who played for Everton between 2012 and 2014, with the forward celebrating his 34th birthday.
The former Rangers forward became an immediate smash hit after initially switching Glasgow for Merseyside, scoring 11 goals in 16 games in his first six months.

Jelavic’s impact waned however, with the Croatia international scoring just eight goals in 43 appearances the following season.
Everton’s number 7 left the Toffees in January 2014 for Hull City, where he spent 18 months until the clubs relegation to the Championship, joining West Ham for six months before eventually leaving England for China.
Taking to Twitter, a number of fans reflected on his time at Goodison Park.
