Bernard scored the opening goal in the first-half, and while Everton attempted to narrowly hold in a nervy final ten minutes, Gylfi Sigurdsson’s thunderous strike double the club’s lead.
The result will be massive for Marco Silva, who has come under so much pressure in recent weeks, while Everton will also be boosted after lifting themselves out of the bottom three for the time being.
