Cenk Tosun doesn’t want to move back to Turkey at this stage of his career amid Besiktas interest, according to reports.
Tosun has frequently been linked with a return to the Turkish Super Lig over the past few months, having struggled for consistent game time on Merseyside.
The 28-year old striker has only made three substitute appearances for the club this season, coming on against Lincoln City and Watford in the Carabao Cup, and against Sheffield United in the Premier League, grabbing an assist in both Cup ties.
With Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Moise Kean ahead of him in the pecking order at Goodison Park, there has been ample speculation that the Turkey international could be on the way out in January.

However, reports earlier this week claimed that Tosun was still hopeful of an Everton future, despite his representatives opening negotiations over a loan exit.
Now according to Milliyet (via Sport Witness), Tosun has once again moved to distance himself from a return to Turkey, with the forward happy living in England.
This comes off the back of other reports from earlier this week claiming that Besiktas were finally prepared to move for their former star man, although they will be dismayed to hear that he doesn’t want a return, despite his lack of minutes for the Blues.

The Saga of Cenk Tosun continues.
At this point it is impossible to predict if Tosun will actually leave in January, where he will go and in what deal. So many reports link different clubs with the forward and more importantly and confusingly, they all seem to claim the forward has different ideas about his future.
I’d like to see Tosun given another chance under Marco Silva, but I just don’t see it happening, even if he has picked up two assists in three games this season.
In my opinion it is inevitable that Tosun leaves in January, although I’m not sure what his destination will be. I definitely think he will leave though, in some sort of capacity.
