Jurgen Klopp is expected name a heavily-rotated starting line-up when Liverpool welcome Everton to Anfield in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
The Toffees face a difficult task at their first hurdle of the competition, with a daunting trip across Merseyside awaiting them.
However, life for Carlo Ancelotti and his men could be made somewhat easier by the likelihood that Klopp will hand a mix of his fringe and younger players chances to impress.
As per claims from the reliable James Pearce during a Question and Answer session for The Athletic, the Liverpool boss is predicted to ring the changes.

Pearce stated:
I expect Takumi Minamino to start vs Everton, and the same with Divock Origi, Harvey Elliott, Nat Phillips, Neco Williams and Curtis Jones.

Few will give the Toffees a chance this weekend, and although Liverpool are poised to name a weakened side, the odds are still stacked against Ancelotti’s men.
Ultimately, though, with the threat of relegation now easing following the Italian’s appointment, it could be wise for the club to pursue glory in the FA Cup.
Despite a horrendous start to the campaign, Everton still have the chance to make amends, and there is plenty to play for in the second half of the season.
The Merseyside Derby can never be considered a ‘free hit’, as such, but the pressure is off the Toffees on Sunday, and it could be a chance for them to finally overcome their city rivals.
