Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that the Toffees are not looking to replace goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, as reported on Sky Sports.
Newspaper reports recently suggested that Ancelotti was keen to find a new shot-stopper but the Italian has shot down those rumours.

As quoted on Sky Sports, he said:
I read that I’m looking for a goalkeeper, this is not true.
I have a great goalkeeper, who is the goalkeeper of the national team.
Pickford helped Everton to a clean sheet against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday as Ancelotti’s men emerged as 1-0 victors at Goodison Park.

In 2018, Pickford was hailed by the Telegraph as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Since then, the goalkeeper has made a few errors, especially the one against Liverpool which allowed Liverpool’s Divock Origi to score a winner with just seconds left.
However, I believe that his form hasn’t been bad, definitely not bad enough to want to replace him. I feel Ancelotti has done the right thing by addressing the rumour and totally wiping it out because it gives the fans and the player himself confidence going forward.
