Everton striker Moise Kean has indicated he remains fully focused on performing on loan at current club Paris Saint-Germain as intense speculation continues over his future.
After a medicore season of misery at Goodison Park in 2019/20, the Italian joined French giants PSG on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window in a bid to rediscover his best form.
According to TEAMtalk, Carlo Ancelotti ‘knows’ that Kean could remain a suitable competitor for the centre-forward position despite the excellent form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the current Premier League top scorer on 11 goals for the season.
However, the 20-year-old appears to be unfazed by speculation that his loan deal could soon morph into a permanent move to the French champions amid an impressive run of form for Les Rogues et Bleu.
Ahead of PSG’s game against Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League tonight, Kean insisted that he is fully focused on enjoying his time in the French capital.
He said [via TEAMtalk]: “I’m focused on PSG for now. It’s a good thing for me and you never know in the future. Ligue 1 is a good league, you can learn a lot.”

It is perhaps unsurprising that Kean sees his immediate future in France. It is the mark of a mature professional to not wish for anything other than present success, even if one eye occasionally glances towards the future.
Kean clearly is leaving little in the way of certainty. Nonetheless, many Evertonians will surely hope he can keep on scoring as he looks to challenge for a centre-forward role on Merseyside in the long run.
