Everton travel to face Sheffield United on Boxing Day and could go second in the Premier League table with a win at Bramall Lane.
The Toffees are favourites to pick up all three points as they’re coming off the back of three consecutive wins in the league while the Blades have yet to beat anybody three months into the season.
In recent weeks, Everton have beaten Chelsea, Leicester City and Arsenal and now face a Sheffield United side with eight defeats from their last nine league games, failing to score in four of them.
Everton have one of the better defensive records (19 goals conceded in 14 games) to take to the Premier League’s joint-lowest scorers (eight goals scored in 14 games), so it would be a surprise to see anything other than a Toffees victory.
