Everton have struggled with form as of late in their bid to secure European football at the end of the season.
The Toffees ran out a 0-0 draw in their last outing in the Premier League with a weakened squad.
According to The Athletic’s Tom Worville, Everton have the most injuries in the league with nine players on the sidelines.
However, yesterday saw the clubs Twitter account post a tweet, showing fans that four players have made their return.
A quartette of Jordan Pickford, Allan, Andre Gomes, and Josh King are all fit for tonight’s fixture against Tottenham…
It is great news for Everton fans, after Ancelotti has evidently struggling with selection over the last two weeks.
With Abdoulaye Doucoure still sidelined, the likes of Allan and Gomes returning is huge for the clubs midfield options.
Not only that, but Josh King’s return eases the burden on Richarlison with Dominic Calvert-Lewin still injured.
Pickford’s recovery should also be a huge boost – the Englishman was enjoying a good run of form prior to his injury.
With the game against Tottenham tonight of huge importance in the battle for a European spot, having as strong a squad as possible is a must.
