Everton could be the unlikely financial beneficiaries of Premier League rivals West Ham following a late transfer development ahead of tomorrow’s deadline.
Ex-Everton playmaker and Croatia international Nikola Vlasic appears set to sign for West Ham in a €30m deal for CSKA Moscow man.
As shared by Ryan Taylor of the Express through Everton fan page EvertonBlueArmy (@Everton Blue Army) on Twitter, the Toffees inserted an unspecified sell-on clause into the deal when Vlasic was sold to CSKA.

Former Blues boss David Moyes – who has presided over a steady rise for the Hammers in recent years – is said to be the personal architect of the deal and has been pushing for the arrival of the 23-year-old ex-Everton dynamo.
The move comes after the Hammers pulled out of the race to sign former loanee Jesse Lingard from Manchester United on a permanent deal.
He is reportedly viewed as offering less value for money in comparison to his Croatian counterpart.
Sold in 2019 by the club, Vlasic was part of Croatia’s squad at Euro 2020 and has also attracted previous interest from AC Milan this summer.

Vlasic has enjoyed a steady rise in Russia and looks to be a rejuvenated figure away from Goodison Park.
The senior international has featured 108 times for the Russian outfit, scoring 33 and assisting 21 in that time.
Although typically deployed as a no. 10, he boasts versatility through his aptitude to feature on either wing.
Although Everton simply could not yield the best out of Vlasic, he appears ready and renewed in his quest to attack the highest level of English football. As a result, receiving a sell-on fee offers a consolation to the Toffees.
