Everton have extended their winless run to five matches after wasting numerous chances in their 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.
David Moyes’ side remain in the fight for a European spot, but their dreams of qualifying have dwindled once more.
After taking the lead in the opening minutes, the Toffees had several chances to extend their lead but failed to do so.
The Blues lead twice in the match, but Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Phillipe Mateta responded to goals from James Tarkowski and Beto.

England’s number one was watched by Thomas Tuchel today and put in a solid display, most notably through some fine distribution.
Jake O’Brien – 6
Tough afternoon having to deal with Tyrick Mitchell and Ismaila Sarr, yet had an error-free performance, and generated a threat from his long throw-ins.
James Tarkowski – 7
Opened the match with a goal and made some crucial blocks and tackles to ensure Everton went home with a point.

His block unluckily lead to Palace’s first goal but failed to track Mateta for their second equaliser.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 6
Similar to O’Brien in dealing with two players, and did so with some effect, and made an effort to help with any attacks on the left.
James Garner – 7
Had a key battle against Adam Wharton, where he managed to compete well against him, and was once again a calm presence in midfield.
Tim Iroegbunam – 7
Not as energetic as his display against Manchester City, but paired with Garner nicely and is making a serious case to be a permanent starter.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 7
Was one of Everton’s main threats on the counter attack, and his dangerous corner led to the opening goal, however his end product on the counter was poor.
Merlin Rohl – 6
A fairly uneventful afternoon for the German, but he did nothing wrong and is showing himself as a capable winger.
Iliman Ndiaye – 5
He was exciting to watch in the opening minutes, yet after missing more clear chances and fading away in the latter stages, it was not a good afternoon for the Senegalese international.
Beto – 8
Scored his ninth Premier League goal of the season and did so after some top effort and finesse, making it another good display up top for the Blues.
Thierno Barry – 7
Threw himself into the game well by winning aerial battles and holding the ball up, and presented himself as a good impact substitute.
Tyrique George – 6
Introduced to the game as Palace were in ascendancy, but had glimpses of promise on the counter.
Charly Alcaraz – 6
Came on as a substitute in the 94th minute and did not have the chance to make an impact.
