Everton have agreed a £4.3 million fee for Barcelona winger Gerard Deulofeu, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
Deulofeu, 21, made a big impression during a year-long loan in the 2013-14 season, but has since seen his progress stall after a recent spell at Europa League winners Sevilla ended disappointingly.
Rumours linking the former loanee with a return to Goodison Park have been rife over the past few weeks, and now it looks like the Toffees have finally got their man.
Sport believes that the Spain U21 international will sign a 3-year deal, with the option of a further one-year extension, however Barcelona have insisted on a buy-back clause in the region of roughly £6.5 million, if activated for the 2015/16 season and £8 million for the 2016/17 campaign.
Is it understood that a move could be completed as early next week, with the 21-year-old set to become Everton’s second summer signing.
