That was the first time Swansea City had ever beaten us in the league, with a manager who had only been in charge for a week and was taking control of his first game in English football. Everton could only muster two shots on target, with all the calamitous defending you could feast your suffering eyes on, if you happen to carry the overbearing affliction of being an Evertonian.
