Everton have fallen behind Juventus in the race to sign Dynamo Kyiv central defender Aleksandar Dragovic.
According to Corriere dello Sport, via talkSPORT, the Blues wanted to bring the 25-year-old to Goodison Park but with the Serie A giants now declaring their interest, it’ll prove difficult for Roberto Martinez to persuade Dragovic to make the move to Merseyside.

Dragovic played in the Champions League this season with Dynamo and wants to continue playing in Europe’s biggest competition – a competition that Everton have no chance of playing in next season.
If the Blues manage to win the FA Cup, they could find themselves in the Europa League but it appears that Juventus’ offer of the elite European competition may prove just too difficult for the Austrian international to turn down.

The Blues have also been monitoring Dragovic’s teammate Andriy Yarmolenko for quite some time, although a potential move for the Ukranian seems unlikely now.
Everton have struggled in the league this season and find themselves in 14th despite the form of Romelu Lukaku.
