Plenty of Everton fans are have reacted unhappily to a latest report linking the club with a move for Manchester United forward Jesse Lingard.
England international Lingard has struggled for regular football this season, appearing mainly as a substitute for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
Netting twice in his 35 appearances in all competitions, Lingard’s impact has been minimal and links of a summer move have now begun to be heard in English media outlets.
Linked with a move to Arsenal and Everton, the Warrington born footballer is said to be keen on fighting for his place at Old Trafford.
Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti will reportedly look to bolster his side in the summer after taking over earlier this season.
Sitting 12th in the Premier League table, the Toffees will be hoping to improve their form when football returns following the postponement due to recent events.
