Everton are continuing to keep tabs on Portuguese international winger Gelson Martins following his move to Atletico Madrid.
Martins signed for Spanish side Atletico Madrid on a six-year deal after his contract at Sporting Lisbon was terminated by mutual consent.
He, along with several other Sporting players, terminated their contracts following a fan-led attack on the club’s training ground.
According to The Daily Star, Everton are one of a number of teams watching Martins.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are all also thought to be keeping a close eye on the winger.
Martins managed 13 goals and 13 assists in all competitions for Sporting last season, but is yet to start a competitive game for Atletico.
He has been restricted to two substitute cameos in La Liga, as he adapts to life outside of Portugal.
