In what could quite possibly be Sam Allardyce’s last home game for Everton, Tom Davies secured a point against relegation-threatened Southampton.
Everton played poorly, but did managed to come away from their final home game of the season with a point, although they should really be taking three points away from a side like Southampton.
After a dreary first half, Nathan Redmond put Southampton in front, in a goal that would boost the Saints survival chances massively.
With Southampton on the brink of relegating West Brom, and Big Sam looking very likely to be sacked, Tom Davies scored a late goal that levelled the game and sent both sides away with a point.
The result means that Southampton are not safe yet, but they can secure safety against Swansea in midweek.
