There’s not much you can say after that, and to be honest, I don’t expect many of you to be reading this now. Just trying to flush it out the system. Full credit to Burnley however, who did play exactly the way they set out to and beat a (yet again) disgraceful Everton team.
It started off alright, actually, as we pressed Burnley and created many chances. That is, until, Stekelenburg had an absolute horror show and handed the ball to Sam Vokes who slotted home to give Burnley the lead which they kept until the break.
After Half-Time, we came out strong again, pressing Burnley, who stuck ten men behind the ball for the rest of the game, rather well. This culminated in Bolasie stealing the ball from Rom and throwing a piledriver past the seemingly unbeatable Tom Heaton.
And, well, you know the rest.
