Everton v Cardiff- Alex’s XI

I really don’t mind the international breaks. That’s probably for two reasons; I’m absolutely accustomed to seeing Everton lose, and lose consistently, so it’s a welcome relief from the suffering. Secondly, I follow a few other sports, so there’s always something on.

But because of the circumstances this time around, I really wasn’t a fan of this break. We’re in fantastic form with an easy (touch wood) home game on the horizon, and everyone wanted to continue the run with no stoppages.

It wasn’t all bad however, as we got to see the best of the blues paraded on the international stage, and at present, there are significantly more on show than in the past. More than that, they all seem to be superstars.

None more so than the headliner of this slideshow, Richarlison. An Everton Striker (Winger?) leading the line for Brazil on their world tour.

It all seems a bit too good to be true but nobody has told me to wake up yet, so on we go.

matchday.
