Everton v Middlesbrough – My Eleven

Everton v Middlesbrough – My Eleven

Here’s hoping that this game will be a bit calmer than last time out. For the sake of all of us.

Boro are coming off of a miserable run, finding themselves only one point off of the bottom three, with both Hull and Sunderland below them looking like they’re going to give survival a real go. While in the transfer window Sunderland, Hull and Swansea all spent money and improved, Boro have stagnated, deciding to trust their original crop of players. Let’s see how that works out.

Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman’s Blues are on quite the march, picking up 17 of a possible 21 points from the last 7 games. This run has made the idea of European Football sound plausible to the most grounded of fans, never mind just the ambitious among us. With Koeman himself saying that ‘Anything is possible’ today in his conference, it’s time to dream again.

We have a good squad of players now, sprinkled with youth and dusted with quality.

Here’s my team.
