Everton v Southampton – My Eleven

Everton v Southampton – My Eleven

We’re playing way, way too much lately. It feels like we have three games per week.

Anyway, Southampton next, I think, it’s all a blur.

They’re decent, around our level. They’re Ronnie’s old team, pretty one-sided rivalry.

Do I have to go on? Fine.

We’re coming off of a poor result at bottom-of-the-league Hull (Which I will heavily emphasise, by the way) where we couldn’t take our chances, our pressing resulted in nothing again as bottom-of-the-league Hull were clinical in front of goal.

It’s another in a string of majorly underwhelming results this season as we fail to beat the teams that we need to, if we want to hold on to the ever fleeting Top Six. And if we can’t beat Liverpool, United, Spurs, Chelsea or City, then we need to be beating the teams at the bottom, and we aren’t.

We’re going into January now though, so there might be a bit of hope there. Probably going to end in disappointment though, as per.
