It feels like I’ve been starting off recently with a lot of ”So, last week was bad, onwards to this week”. It’s getting rather repetitive, and annoying, to be honest.
So, last week was bad, onwards to this week.
We’re off down to the south coast, former residence of Ronald Koeman, Southampton. They’ve followed us down our bumpy road, with the last league victory coming in Mid October against Burnley, while we have only managed to gain all three points once in our last seven outings. Southampton haven’t really taken off with Claude Puel yet, and while we enjoyed a barnstorming start under Koeman, it’s slowed down a fair bit.
Quite similar, all in all.
So, Everton.
With any luck, last week spelt the end of Phil Jagielka, at least for a lengthy period of time, and hopefully, it indicated to the Boss that recycling all of the old faces won’t really work anymore. Too many were lacking, and fresh faces need to be introduced.
But will they?
Prediction, then, and my Key Man…
