Everton v Yeovil – Predicted XI

So, it’s time for Koeman’s first game under the floodlights as Everton boss.

Coincidentally, it’s also the first cup game, as the Blues take on League Two Yeovil Town in the Second Round of the newly-named EFL Cup after the FA chose to drop all sponsors on all competitions – Except for, you know, the cup that’s bloody named after them.

A lot has happened in the last few weeks regarding transfers, as two new players have been brought in and are just starting to be integrated properly into the Everton first team, with late cameos at the weekend for £25m man Yannick Bolasie and previously acquired Ashley Williams, who had been getting up to match fitness after missing out on all of Pre-Season as he lead a heroic run in the Euros with Wales.

So, with no idea how the squad is going to look, or whether Koeman plans to play youngsters, or whether players need rests, or whether Koeman plans to dominate Yeovil by playing a full-strength squad, let’s have a look at my Predicted XI and my Key Man for tomorrow…
