On the back a fine first-half display against Middlesbrough on Saturday night, Everton now look ahead to their EFL Cup tie at home to last season’s relegated side Norwich City.
The Toffees cruised past League Two Yeovil Town with a 4-0 win in the last round at Goodison and will look to advance further in the Competition with the visit of Alex Neil’s side.
A win will see Ronald Koeman’s side extend their unbeaten start to the season and help further their ambitions of a first major trophy since the 1995 FA Cup.
The Canaries have made a solid start to their return to the Championship and currently sit second in the table as they look to make an immediate return to the top flight.
The game will also see Steven Naismith return to Everton for the second time since his January move to Carrow Road.
