Everton weigh up move for Stoke City World Cup midfielder

Everton are this week linked with a move for Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye, according to a report from Turkish outlet Fotomac.

Ndiaye only joined Stoke in January from Galatasaray, but could leave the Potters after only six months thanks to Stoke’s relegation to the Championship last season.

The player is on international duty with Senegal, who beat Poland 2-0 in their opening game. However, he has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, with Wolves also taking a look at the Senegalese player.

Stoke paid over £14 million for the midfielder in January, but the player only made 13 appearances for Stoke. The Senegalese player did impress for Stoke, scoring twice as Paul Lambert’s side were relegated to the Championship.

Everton could have to part with £25 million if they want to sign Ndiaye, with Stoke trying to sell their highly paid starts as they adapt to life in the Championship.
