Let’s all face facts about last season. Everton, as a club, were an absolute shambles. From the signings made to the managerial merry go round, things were not good at Goodison.
To compete again, the Blues’ squad desperately needs to be frefreshed.
Wayne Rooney and Ramiro Funes Mori have already been shown the door, a little prematurely on the latter could be argued, but it seems anyone who has any kind of value or is sitting on a decent wage will be looked to be moved on if they aren’t first-team starters.
The Blues need to bring in a couple of players, at least, but in order to do that, they’ll need to move on a few current squad members.
