Everton are at a crossroads. We’re very close to creating something special, but we’re also close to wasting our vast potential. This game highlighted that.
Everton started the game superbly, dominating Norwich all over the park. Lukaku opened the scoring for the visitors after a beautiful cross from Gerard Deulofeu. The Toffees continued the boss the first half but could not improve on their 1-0 lead.
At the start of the second half, Everton’s failure to deal with a Norwich corner saw The Canaries draw level through Hoolahan.
