Juventus considering Kean sale – should Everton now make a move?

Juventus are considering selling Moise Kean this summer with the forward entering the final 12 months of his contract – so should the Toffees now firm up their interest?

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport, cited by Sports Witness, the Serie A champions are seriously considering parting ways with the forward, with Everton and Borussia Dortmund the two parties showing a concrete interest.

The Italian giants value the youngster at €40 million and would demand a buyback clause in a proposed move for the striker.

Marco Silva is in the market for a new striker, with Everton failing to replace the goalscoring prowess Romelu Lukaku brought at Goodison Park.

Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin both struggled to find the back of the net with ease last season, so a move for Kean could be a smart one.

The 19-year-old averaged a goal every other game for Juventus last season and will only get better with age.

Kean has similar attributes to former Toffees striker Lukaku, with the youngster quick, strong and able to link-up play with ease.

At €40 million, it would certainly be a huge investment by Everton, however, it could be one that the Toffees need to make to improve on their eighth-place finish last season.
