Kieran Tierney has a “deal in principle” with Everton according to Scottish Football expert Ian McGarry, via the Liverpool Echo.
McGarry, a football recruitment consultant with over 25 years experience in the Scottish game, says that the Celtic star is being offered out by his agents, with a Premier League move a priority for the young Scot.
Everton and the player have reportedly agreed a “deal in principle” for the player to swap Celtic park for Everton.

McGarry said:
I’m told Celtic are very calm and unperturbed about the fact his agents are actively marketing him in the Premier League.
But (his agents) have agreed, in principle, a deal with Everton which could be worth around £85,000-a-week to the player, including step-ups in salary per year of a five-year contract so by year five he’d be expecting to earn in the region of £140,000-a-week
Tierney has become a star for Celtic in the past few season, with Everton looking to replace Leighton Baines at left back. Tierney is unproven outside the Scottish Premiership however, meaning Everton are unlikely to offer more than £20 million for the Scot.
