Fabrizio Romano confirms Everton’s £31.5m-rated striker has joined Juventus on two-year loan

The transfer window has been an interesting one for Everton and Rafa Benitez.

Additions including Demarai Gray, Andros Townsend, and Asmir Begovic have offered some clever depth.

Gray has hit the ground running for the Toffees, with two goals in his first three games for the club.

However, there has also been a number of departures from Goodison this summer too.

The latest comes in the form of Italian youngster Moise Kean, who has rejoined Juventus on a two-year loan.

It was confirmed this morning by Fabrizio Romano and Juventus that the 21-year-old had departed…

Kean signed for Everton back in the summer of 2019 for just under £25million from the Old Lady.

However, his time on Merseyside did not quite go to plan, with him managing just 39 appearances and 4 goals.

Most of those appearances came from the bench, with him spending last season on loan at PSG.

His time in France was much more positive, and lead many fans to believe he may get his chance for the Toffees.

17 goals from 41 appearances proved that Kean is perfectly capable at the top level, just not for Everton.

Despite this, the club have still kept him on the boos, with him joining Juventus on a two-year loan deal.

Whether this means the club still has potential plans for Kean in the future is unknown.

These next two years will prove pivotal for the 21-year-old and the path his career may or may not take at Everton.
