Moshiri happy with start to the season.

Moshiri happy with start to the season.

Jim White has again received a text from Farhad Moshiri, after the Deadline Debacle, in which the Everton majority shareholder said that he is ”very encouraged by the strong start we have made to the season”.

Moshiri, who appointed new manager Ronald Koeman back in June after predecessor Roberto Martinez’ failures, has said that he is impressed by how well some of the new players have adapted to the stern Dutchman’s leadership over a short period of time.

Moshiri finally added that:

”We look forward to maintaining our momentum and a successful season”.

Koeman, who, after victory at the Stadium of Light on Monday, has officially made the best start as Everton manager of all time, ousting the great Howard Kendall’s record.

Everton have 10 points in the league so far of a possible 12, only dropping points against Pochettino’s Spurs who need no advertisements for just how good they have proven to be. Since the opening day draw, Everton have won all of their games, including the recent routing of former manager David Moyes’ Sunderland, in which Lukaku netted his first goal in six months, and proceeded to bag a hat-trick ending his goal drought spectacularly.

Yannick Bolasie, Ashley Williams, Idrissa Gana Gueye and Maarten Stekelenburg all started for Everton, emphasising Moshiri’s point on the impressive gelling of the squad since all were brought in, with all of them nailing down a first team place.
