Steven Naismith has performed a U-turn and agreed to join Norwich City, according to the Mirror.
Last week saw Naismith back out of a move to the Canaries – in the hope that some northern teams would show interest.
None did, whilst his club, Everton, told him he’d have to leave to help the club raise funds for possible transfers.
In addition, Norwich boss Alex Neil also persuaded the Scotland international with regular first team football, something he hasn’t been getting at Goodison Park this season.
The 29-year-old is undergoing a medical on Monday morning with the terms of the deal seemingly finalised.
Having played just 10 Premier League games this season and being fairly out-of-favour, it was likely Norwich were to reignite their interest in Naismith this month.
He has, however, impressed at times this season. The obvious game that will spring to any Evertonians mind will be his hattrick vs Chelsea in September, after being brought on as a substitution early on due to a injury to Muhamed Besic.

With the deal set to go through, it is thought the sum of money will be reinvested into transfer targets.
Everton have already added to their ranks this month with the signings of young prospects Matty Foulds and Shani Tarashaj, Foulds is likely to join the U21’s squad and Tarashaj will spend the rest of the season on loan at Grasshoppers – his former club.
Martinez is also looking to strengthen the depth to his squad, as a bid of £3.7million was accepted for Leeds United right-back Sam Byram last week.
It remains to be seen whether summer target Andriy Yarmolenko is still wanted by Martinez, but the transfer funding could be made easier by the £8million coming in from the Naismith sale.
