Leon Osman says he could leave Everton in the summer as he looks to prolong his playing career, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The diminutive midfielder, who has been with Everton since he was a teenager, doesn’t want to hang up his boots at the end of the season and is open to offers from elsewhere should the Blues not hand him a new deal.
My contract is up in the summer. I’m still feeling good and I’m contributing when I’m out on the pitch.
As it stands at the minute I’m not looking to finish so we’ll wait and see what happens over the next few months.

The 34-year-old has rarely featured this season and is out of contract in the summer, but is stilly fully committed to the Merseysiders and wants to help the Toffeemen improve their underwhelming season.

Osman has made over 400 appearances for Everton, scoring 58 goals, but the former England international has only started on five occasions this season and is hungry for more minutes on the pitch in the twilight years of his career.
The no.21 is only six appearances away from surpassing Dixie Dean’s 433 outings for the Blues, but whether it’s on Merseyside or not, the Everton stalwart is determined to keep on playing.
