Everton produced a fine display to beat West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday evening, moving Marco Silva’s side into the top half of the Premier League.
Kurt Zouma capitalised on some poor defending from the home side when he nodded home from Gylfi Sigurdsson’s corner just five minutes into the game, before Bernard was the beneficiary of a further defensive lapse following the half hour mark.
Richarlison had the chance to grab a third late on for the Toffees, but his header crashed against the cross bar after he was given a free run from a corner.
Jordan Pickford was relatively untroubled as the Hammers struggled to create any clear cut chances, and Silva’s side full deserved the three points.
Everton are now just one point behind Wolves in seventh, and following the victory over West Ham, we asked Toffees’ fans to vote for their Man of the Match.
There were multiple candidates following an impressive performance, but there was a clear winner in the eyes of the Everton supporters.
