Koeman keen on Polish winger Grosicki

Ronald Koeman is looking to bring in Polish Winger Kamil Grosicki, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The 28-year-old still has four years left on his contract with Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennes after signing an extension in March.

Grosicki, known for his pace and directness, is a target of Koeman’s who’s looking to add some more firepower to Everton’s attack. Signing the forward could see a more balanced side next season, with Tom Cleverley possibly moving into the centre of midfield and Gerard Deulofeu likely to play from the right.

Having spent two years in France with Rennes, it seems Grosicki may be interested in a move to the Premier League, with European football at Everton a possibility in the future. The reports suggest his agent has opened talks with Everton, although this is unconfirmed.

Grosicki made most of his 33 league appearances from the bench last season, where he was played on both flanks, as a wide midfielder and a winger. He scored nine and assisted three times as his side finished in ninth place.

Likely to cost in the reign of £10million, Kamil has looked lively for Poland this month where he has featured in all four of his countries games. The winger assisted Jakub Blaszczykowski’s goal in their 1-1 draw with Switzerland which subsequently went to penalties.

You’ll be able to watch Kamil Grosicki on Thursday as Poland take on Portugal in their quarter-final tie.
