AC Milan have warned Everton and Tottenham that Keisuke Honda will not be available in January, according to talkSPORT.
The attacking midfielder has reportedly attracted interest from the two Premier League clubs after failing to make any sort of impact at the San Siro this season.
But despite this, AC Milan have said the 29 year-old will not be for sale come January.
Honda, who joined from CSKA Moscow in 2013, was voted AFiE player of of the year the following campaign but has since struggled to break into the first team under Sinisa Mihajlovic.
And with Everton chasing that illusive European spot, Roberto Martinez is keen to strengthen in attacking areas, with the no.10 position being his primary concern.
Especially as Honda can also operate as a second striker and a deep-lying playmaker, and Everton have been linked with him previously, before he went to the Rossoneri.
The Japanese international has featured for the national side 77 times, scoring an impressive 32 goals.
Everton travel to Upton Park this Saturday to face Slaven Bilic’s West Ham.
