As recent as last week a meeting was called by the Valenica board as they looked to sustain their strong start in La Liga and have made plans for Sandro’s arrival.
The option, which Valencia are likely to explore, is to sign the player on a loan-deal in January with the view to making it a permanent one in the summer.
Everton wouldn’t have to pay for his wages and would instead pay for a chunk of his price.
Due to Valencia not being able to cover Sandro’s wages, the Blues are likely to wait to see where the Spaniard fits into new manager Sam Allardyce’s plans.
