Virals: Everton ace drops Twitter hint amid PSG speculation

Everton star Richarlison has fuelled speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain following a social media hint.

The forward was linked with the Parisian giants in the latter stages of the transfer window, with the Brazilian forward reportedly being lined up as a possible replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is out of contract next summer.

The European giants rejected a £153.6million offer from Real Madrid for their star asset which ultimately prevented the Everton forward being caught up in a transfer domino effect.

Everton were said to be holding out for a fee of £85 million in order to part with their key asset, who himself joined from Watford for £50 million in 2018.

Despite the lack of a move to Ligue 1, Richarlison continues to flutter his eyelids at the French outfit.

Ahead of Wednesday’s 1-1 Champions League draw between PSG and Club Brugge, the 24-year-old posted a Tweet, which read:

“Neymar, Messi, Mbappé!!! Today has UCL” – along with a starry-eyed and fire emoji.

Care must be taken not to extrapolate too much from the Tweet.

All three names are household names and Richarlison may simply be giving a nod to his fellow stars – indeed, his compatriot Neymar has shared a dressing room with him.

In any case, Richarlison still has three years remaining on his current deal at Goodison Park and would command a considerable fee.

With no immediate threat of a transfer, there is little true cause for concern – though Richarlison certainly does not mask his praise lightly!
