Virals: Everton named among clubs interested in Daniel Jebbison

Everton have been named among the clubs chasing Sheffield United striker Daniel Jebbison.

The 18-year-old is reportedly attracting interest from numerous clubs following a strong start to life on loan at Burton Albion.

Jebbison also scored against the Blues last season in the Premier League and was hailed as a ‘shining light’ for the soon to be relegated Blades by Micah Richards.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, as cited by The Bladesman on Twitter, Everton are amongst the leading suitors for the teenager.

The report details an in-depth interview with Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink whereby the Dutch legend suggests Jebbison could return to his parent club in January.

Any recall to Yorkshire could be followed by major interest from European giants as a plethora of clubs ‘track’ the England Under 19 ace’s progress.

So far this season the Canada-born starlet has scored six times in 16 appearances for the League One club.

Wanted by the likes of Liverpool, West Ham, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, Everton are wise to be attentive to the situation.

Clearly a player with an eye for goal, Rafa Benitez should be weighing up a swoop for Jebbinson in the winter window, especially with a misfiring Salomon Rondon now injured.

Valued at just £900,000 (Transfermarkt), given the financial fair play constraints placed on the club, the teenage sensation will be one of the few viable targets.
