Andriy Yarmolenko’s agent was at Goodison Park on Wednesday night as Everton look to reignite a big-money-move for the Ukranian, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 26-year-old wants a move to the Premier League and his representatives were in Merseyside to talk terms and see the Blues beat Manchester City in the Capital One Cup.
Reports yesterday suggested Everton are willing to pay £21million for the gifted attacker, as they look to get him in before Euro 2016.
Everton tried to complete a deal for the Dynamo Kyiv captain in the summer but were eventually unsuccessful after some tough negotiations.
Yarmolenko’s price has risen by around £5-6million since the summer, as he signed a new long term deal with Kyiv a few months ago.
Dynamo president Ihor Surkis wasn’t willing to sell his prized asset in the summer due to the club’s Champions League exploits, but the Everton hierarchy believe a winter deal for the versatile forward is possible.
