Everton completed the signing of Yerry Mina from Barcelona on deadline day earlier this month, in a £27m deal.
Even though Mina only spent six months with the Catalan giants – being bought for £10.5m last January window, his contract with Everton includes a buy-back clause where Barcelona can re-sign the centre-back for £53.9m if he is worthy of a return. However, the possibility of being reinstated will not be able to take place until 2020, at the earliest.
Ruling out a return to Barcelona next summer is definite, but if the Colombian can render, some sort, of quality during his five-year-contract at Everton it will hold no restrictions on the Catalans to claim back Yerry Mina throughout future transfer windows.
Soon to feature, along with other deadline-day signings, Yerry Mina, Kurt Zouma, Bernard, and Andre Gomes could be handed their debuts in the Caraboa Cup next week, against Rotherham.
