South American football expert Tim Vickery took time out of his busy schedule to speak to us about Everton’s new £9.5million man, Ramiro Funes Mori.
Vickery, a well-respected and admired journalist in his field, spoke about Funes Mori’s background, his strengths and weaknesses and his opinion on the centre-half.
Vickery’s view on the former River Plate star angered some Evertonians on social media, but this 21 minute podcast is riveting and his qualified opinions are as entertaining as they are insightful.
Leandro Rodriguez, Everton’s other unknown quantity, was also touched upon by Vickery.
A former South American toffee in Antolin Alcaraz was also mentioned and though it may surprise you all, nice things were said about the Paraguayan, who is now plying his trade for Las Palmas.
