Everton played a woeful Aston Villa off the park as braces from Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku, guided the Toffeemen to a 4-0 win.
Barkley started the scoring in the 17th minute with a close-range finish, Lukaku headed the Blues to a two-goal cushion and the Toffee that comes from Wavertree made it 3-0 just before half-time.
Lukaku made it 4-0 in the second half as the Blues coasted to victory. Some sublime football was played by the Toffeemen and it was a real joy to watch at times.
The tribute to the recent Paris attacks was excellently observed by both sets of supporters. Liberte, Egalite, Fraternite.
