Everton preparing £21 million bid for Yarmolenko

Everton are reportedly readying a huge £21 million bid for long-term target Andriy Yarmolenko in their strongest attempt yet to bring the Ukraine international to Goodison Park.

It has been said that boss Roberto Martinez is looking to make a January move for the powerful winger with Euro 2016 in mind.

The Spanish tactician is worried that if Yarmolenko enjoys a successful campaign with Ukraine, his price tag may be bumped up by parent club Dynamo Kiev, meaning that Everton would have more competition for his services.

An area that Martinez and Everton have been looking to improve in has been in the wide positions, with a winger being the primary target for the January transfer window.

The 26-year-old winger has been watched on several occasions by Toffees’ chief scout Kevin Reeves and interest has not cooled in recent weeks, with Yarmolenko heading Everton’s transfer target list.

The Kiev winger’s agent has confirmed that his client is looking to move to the Premier League, however if Everton are going to prize away the star man for the Ukrainians, they will need to cough up a huge sum of money.

Would Yarmolenko be a good addition for £21 million in January?
