Everton v Hajduk Split – My Eleven

Here we go again with Everton in Europe. We didn’t make easy work of Ružomberok so God knows how we’ll cope against these. We can’t just take a 1-0 back to their place – Cause have you seen their fans by the way? Bloody hell – because if we do, they won’t roll over like Ružomberok did. Of course that’s me making assumptions again but it’s a safe one to make and the entirety of this piece is an assumption so if you take exception to that I’d stop here.

Anyway.

We started off with a shaky but welcomed three points against Stoke and a dominant performance from Wayne Rooney, which can hopefully inspire the team going into Thursday’s game. That being said the team is still clicking into gear and it showed in the first half of Saturday’s game when many passes were misplaced and many runs were left unanswered by our attack. We aren’t a fully cohesive unit yet but only games will change that.

Team.
