RB Leipzig planning bid to sign Everton attacker
Everton forward Ademola Lookman is set to be the subject of a bid from RB Leipzig this summer, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The young attacker joined the Bundesliga side on a loan deal until the end of the season in January after being afforded limited opportunities by Sam Allardyce following his appointment.
Lookman went on to impress for Leipzig as they secured a sixth-place finish in the German top-flight.
The England Under-21 international turned in some scintillating displays during his temporary spell in Germany and according to the Liverpool Echo, Leipzig are keen to sign Lookman permanently this summer.
Lookman, 20, will stage talks with whoever Everton’s new manager is this summer as he attempts to gauge his chances of featuring in the club’s first-team plans ahead of next season.
Marcel Brands, though, following his confirmation as Everton’s new director of football, is understood to have already watched Lookman in action, indicating that plans are in place to keep hold of him this summer.
