Everton considering move for recently-relegated Bundesliga youngster

Everton are one of four Premier League sides considering a summer move for Hamburg’s Aaron Opoku.

The Guardian reports that all four sides have been keeping close tabs on the player, who has recently rejected professional terms with the German side.

The player reportedly sees his future away from the recently-relegated club and is keen on a Premier League move.

Opoku, who has represented his country at youth level, is a 19-year-old attacking midfielder, but can also play out on the left.

Despite Hamburg’s relegation to the 2. Bundesliga, where regular game time could be more achievable, Opoku wants the next step of his career to be in England.

Because of the player’s age, clubs outside of Germany would only have to pay a small training fee for the player.

Opoku is yet to make a first-team appearance for Hamburg but did feature for the club’s reserve side last season.
