Everton winger linked with Premier League switch

Yannick Bolasie could be on the way out this summer with Newcastle interested, according to Congolese outlet Foot.

Foot claim that Marcel Brands seeks to let 12 senior players go this summer, and that Newcastle could be a potential destination for the 29-year old winger.

It’s worth mentioning that it appears Foot have misinterpreted an article in the Mirror, speculating that 12 players could be axed by Brands and Marco Silva this summer, as spotted by the Liverpool Echo.

Another interesting link Foot raise is a potential player-plus-cash deal with Crystal Palace, that will see Bolasie return to the club Everton bought him from while Eagles star man Wilfried Zaha would join the Toffees – a very unlikely scenario given Palace are quoting £70million for the Ivory Coast international.

Given that Foot also claim that Everton signed Bolasie for €14million (£12.3million) three years ago – it was £25million two years ago – it’s probably worth taking all of this with a rather large handful of salt.
