Everton could look to capitalise on the situation at Sporting Lisbon by signing winger Carlos Mane, according to reports.
A number of Sporting’s players were attacked by a mob at the club’s training ground after a string of poor results and as such, plenty of them are set to quit the club, which should be allowed as part of their contracts.
As it stands, goalkeeper Rui Patricio has quit whilst stars like Gelson Martins, Bruno Fernandes and William Carvalho are expected to follow suit.
New Everton boss Marco Silva knows the Lisbon set up well and worked with Mane during their time at the club and he’s apparently interested in signing him yet again.
However, Mane has been on loan at German club Stuttgart since the simmer of 2016, so he might not have the legal grounds to quit the club, so any transfer for him might involve a fee.
