Everton said to be keen on a deal for Celta Vigo star
Everton are reportedly keeping tabs on Daniel Wass’ situation at Celta Vigo ahead of a potential summer move.
The Danish international is looking likely to depart the La Liga side in the ongoing transfer window and according to claims from Marca recently, Everton are among the interested clubs.
Wass’ deal at Celta Vigo expires at the end of next season and with disagreements continuing to prevail between the player’s agency and the club’s hierarchy, a positive resolution does not appear to be likely.
Therefore, the Spanish club could be keen to cash in on their experienced midfielder this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
Wass was excluded from Denmark’s squad for the World Cup but is still regarded as an important player who Celta Vigo will be keen to keep hold of this summer.
Everton, however, are not the only side in the race for Wass. It’s believed by Marca that Serie A giants Roma are also keen on the 29-year-old.
