Everton and Arsenal are reportedly in the race to sign Senegal international M’Baye Niang from Torino this summer.
The versatile attacker was a regular fixture in Aliou Cisse’s line-up during the World Cup group stages but was unable to help his country progress through to the knockout rounds.
Niang is currently plying his trade in Italy with Torino but after an impressive World Cup campaign on an individual level, it seems interest from across Europe is building.
According to claims from Italian news outlet Tuttosport, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, the Toffees are among a host of clubs who are keen to make a move for the ex-AC Milan star this summer.
Premier League rivals Arsenal are also named as potential suitors for the player, whilst a move to France is not ruled out. Monaco, Marseille and Nice are also touted as potential destinations.
Everton want to add attacking quality to the ranks this summer and if reports from Italy are to be believed, Niang is a player who is under consideration.
